ALCON LABS SALUTES NEMF FOR
"EXCELLENCE"
NEMF has again been cited by Alcon Labs for
"Excellent Carrier Performance." This is the tenth straight year in
which NEMF has garnered Alcon's award for outstanding performance.
The award was presented at Alcon's annual
carrier group meeting, where NEMF was represented by Tom Wajer, vice president
of international sales, and George Marshall, national account executive.
"We are very proud of the workers at our Baltimore terminal and throughout
our terminal network," said Wajer. "It was truly a team effort that
earned us this recognition."
Alcon began its relationship with NEMF when its
former northeast carrier, St. Johnsbury Trucking, closed in 1993. In addition to
receiving the award, NEMF also announced that it had signed a three year
extension of its contract with Alcon.
