ROMBACH IS NEW SAFETY
DIRECTOR FOR SHEVELL GROUP

J. Richard Rombach of Harrisburg (PA) has joined The
Shevell Group of companies as director of safety. He
will oversee safety and compliance for the companies in
the Shevell Group. He will also be in charge of the
group's driver safety program. He will be domiciled in
the company's Harrisburg area terminal, located at 2800
Appleton Street in Camp Hill.
Rombach brings to the
Shevell Group more than 30 years' experience in the
transportation industry. Most recently, he was with New
Penn Motor Express in Lebanon, PA, as senior safety
supervisor. Earlier, he had been with Con-way Eastern
and Hall's Transit.
In 1984, he was named
Safety Director of the Year by the Pennsylvania Motor
Truck Association. Rombach is a member of the Highway
Safety Coalition Roundtable, a Pennsylvania organization
composed of corporate safety and law enforcement
officials.
He holds a bachelor's
degree from Penn State University.
Rombach, and his wife,
Kathy, have three grown children, Todd, Kelly and Kevin,
all living in the Harrisburg area.
