SHEVELL GROUP ADVANCES
RAMBONE TO VP

Robert Rambone of
Keansburg (NJ) has been promoted to vice president of
maintenance at The Shevell Group of transportation
companies. He will oversee equipment maintenance,
equipment purchasing and related functions for all the
companies in the Shevell Group.

Executive Vice President Tom Connery. "Bob's
experience and knowledge of our companies ensure that we
will maintain our trucks to a very high standard."
Rambone began his career
with the Shevell Group's less-than-truckload (LTL)
carrier, NEMF, in 1989 as maintenance manager. In 1998,
he was promoted to director of maintenance. Prior to
joining NEMF, Rambone spent 10 years as a diesel
mechanic at Carretta Trucking and two years as
maintenance manager at Metropolitan Trucking. Rambone
and his wife, Fran, have three sons: Joey, Bobby and
Michael.
The privately-held
Shevell Group of Companies provides a broad array of
transportation-related services. Companies in The
Shevell Group include NEMF (New England Motor Freight,
less-than truckload carrier), Carrier Industries
(third-party logistics, dedicated fleet, warehousing),
Eastern Freight Ways (asset based truckload carrier),
Apex Logistics (brokerage, nationwide truckload) and
NEMF World Transport (non-vessel operating common
carrier).
