POTTER TO MANAGE NEMF'S BOSTON TERMINAL

January 2007

NEMF (New England Motor Freight) has announced the appointment of Frederick Potter as terminal manager of the company's Boston, MA, area terminal. He will have overall responsibilities for the day-to-day operations at the 51-door Boston facility. His challenges will be to increase bill count, revenue and profit while reducing cost and providing superior service.

Potter has been with NEMF since 2003. He was the Assistant Terminal Manager of the Allentown, PA area terminal before assuming his new responsibilities.

Potter brings to Boston a strong industry background of thirty three years serving in many capacities. Prior to joining NEMF, Fred was Terminal Manager and then Corporate Operations Manager at Plymouth Transportation in Reading, PA. Before that he was Manager of Operations Planning and Internal Auditor for Crouse Cartage Corporation in Kansas City, MO. He has also held various positions with Carolina Freight Carriers in Cherryville, NC.

Potter attended Johnson Wales College, Franklin Pierce College and Providence College and majored in business. He is originally from Cranston, Rhode Island and has family there; He is a die-hard Patriots fan and enjoys traveling throughout New England.

Fred and his wife Patricia will be relocating to this area from Pennsylvania; they have two grown children and 3 grandchildren.
