NEMF INTRODUCES A.M. GUARANTEE SERVICE
October 12, 2001
New England Motor Freight, (NEMF) has announced a morning delivery enhancement of its express guaranteed service "NEMF Today," available at any of the company's terminals throughout the Northeast. The new service is known as "NEMF Today A.M. Guarantee."
"When we introduced 'NEMF Today,' our guaranteed same-day service, a year ago, it was an immediate hit with our customers," said NEMF Executive Vice President Jon Shevell. "We're always looking to improve our services as our customers' needs change."
With "NEMF Today A.M Guarantee," customers can get freight shipped and delivered before noon on the standard service day between most of the points the company serves in the Northeast. "In other words, if the destination is a normal overnight delivery, we'll get it there before noon on the next day; if it's a two-day trip, before noon on the second day," Shevell said.
"Our aim is to provide our customers with shipping services that will help them improve their business," Shevell said. "This is one more option they have to move their freight the way they want."
NEMF is backing its a.m. service with a "no charge" guarantee, Shevell added. "If we don't deliver the freight when we say we will, we won't charge the customer. They won't have to file for a refund, because we won't bill them in the first place."
The shipments will be constantly monitored with advanced tracking systems. Customers will be able to track the progress of their shipments via NEMF's website, www.nemf.com, and will be able to confirm delivery or download documents relating to the shipment.
NEMF (www.nemf.com) is a regional, family-owned, less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier based in Elizabeth, NJ. It operates 30 terminals throughout the Northeast, Florida and Canada.
