Charles Lana of Hawthorne (NJ) has joined New England Motor Freight as an account executive at the carrier's Elizabeth (NJ) area terminal. He will serve customers throughout Passaic County and in lower Bergen, western Hudson and suburban Essex counties.

Lana has an extensive background in trucking industry sales that spans more than 28 years. Prior to joining NEMF, he served for three years at Jevic Transportation and two years Red Star Express. Earlier, he spent 17 years as a senior account executive with Consolidated Freightways in Northern New Jersey. While at Consolidated, he won the President's Circle Award for outstanding performance in sales.

Lana holds a bachelor's degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
He and his wife, Diane, have two sons and a daughter.
NEMF's Elizabeth, NJ, headquarters terminal is located at 1-71 North Ave East. 

The 110-door terminal serves as the base for 140 daily pickup and delivery routes.
