June 8, 2007

NEMF has named Bill Kudrick of Lancaster, PA, to manage its newly-opened Lancaster area terminal (located at 1362 Clover Leaf Road in Mt. Joy, PA). He will have overall responsibilities for day-to-day operations at the 54-door facility, which is the base for 16 daily pickup and delivery routes. The terminal services Lancaster, Reading, Mount Joy, Columbia and Lebanon, in addition to several other smaller communities in the region.

Prior to joining NEMF, Kudrick spent 18 years with CF Motor Express, starting out in sales and eventually serving as terminal manager in Mechanicsburg, Lancaster and York, PA. Earlier, he was in both operations and sales during a five year stint at Roadway Express.

Before he entered the trucking industry, Kudrick was an educator, serving as teacher and basketball coach at Perth Amboy High School and Woodbridge High School in New Jersey and Lebanon High School in Pennsylvania.

Kudrick holds a bachelor's degree from Albright College in Reading, PA and a master's in education from Springfield College in Massachusetts.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Kudrick has been a basketball official for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association for 33 years and once played for a national championship Class A softball team. He was inducted into the Albright College Athletic Hall of Fame for his achievements in basketball.

Kudrick served on the Penn Manor (PA) board of education for eight years, including a year as board treasurer. He and his wife, Judith, have five grown children.

Based in Elizabeth, NJ, family-owned less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier NEMF (www.nemf.com) serves its customers from terminals throughout the Northeast and Midwest, as well as Florida, Puerto Rico and Canada. It is the largest LTL carrier in the Northeast region. NEMF is a member of The Shevell Group of Companies (www.ShevellGroup.com), which also includes Carrier Industries (third-party logistics, dedicated fleet, warehousing), Eastern Freight Ways (asset-based truckload carrier), Apex Logistics (brokerage, nationwide truckload) and NEMF World Transport (non-vessel operating common carrier).
