Tom Hartley of Harrisburg
(PA) has been named manager of quality and corporate
compliance at NEMF (New England Motor Freight).
Stationed at the company's terminal in Camp Hill (PA),
he will be instrumental in assuring that proper systems
are in place and used to their fullest capacity, as well
as making sure that the full potential of the company's
technology is realized. He had been the terminal manager
for NEMF's Hagerstown (MD) location.
Hartley has been with
NEMF since 2003. Prior to that, he was an account
executive for Eagle Global Logistics. He has held many
other positions during his 18-year career in trucking,
including city dispatcher, dock supervisor, and break
bulk operations manager.
Hartley attended
Harrisburg Area Community College and studied Criminal
Justice.
He has been a volunteer
fireman in the Harrisburg (PA) area for 20 years,
attaining the rank of Captain in 2002. He also served as
president of The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum for
three years.
Hartley and his wife,
Mary Ann, have three daughters, Rachael (15), Marisa
(13), and Annie (12).
