BURNS TO MANAGE NEMF's MERIDEN TERMINAL

Michael Burns of Somerset, MA, has joined NEMF as manager of the company's Meriden, CT, terminal, located at 475 Research Parkway. He will have overall responsibilities for day-to-day operations at the 62-door facility, which is the base for 25 daily pickup and delivery routes.

Prior to joining NEMF, Burns was a terminal manager for five years with Watkins Motor Lines in Providence, RI. Before that, he spent 17 years at Roadway Express as a supervisor in Nashua, NH; operations manager in Worcester, MA and terminal manager in Hyannis, Fall River and Springfield, MA.

Burns is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
