ALTIERI TO MANAGE NEMF's NEW ELKTON, MD TERMINAL

NEMF (New England Motor
Freight) announced the appointment of Vincent Altieri as
terminal manager of the company's Elkton, MD, area
terminal. He will oversee the opening of the new
terminal, now under construction 3 Center Road in
Northeast, MD, and the transition of operations there
from the smaller Essex terminal. When it becomes
operational, he will have overall responsibilities for
day-to-day operations at the 150-door Elkton facility.
Altieri has been with
NEMF since 2002. He was manager of the Boston area
terminal before assuming his current responsibilities.
Prior to joining NEMF, Altieri was a vice president of
operations in Plaistow, NH, for four years with Atlas
Motor Express. Before that, he spent seven years at
Plymouth Rock Transportation as a terminal manager in
Jersey City, NJ, Brooklyn and Boston.
Altieri graduated from
St. Peter's College in Jersey City with a B.S. in
management. During his tenure in Boston, the terminal
was a nominee for the 2004 Terminal of the Year Award
and won the 2005 Locomotive Quality Award.
A native of Jersey City,
Altieri resides in Elkton.
