NEMF earns recognition as a John Deere "Partner-Level Supplier"
January 1, 2009 Elizabeth, NJ - New England Motor Freight (NEMF) has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2008 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company's highest supplier rating. The Elizabeth based NEMF was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. NEMF management will accept the recognition during a formal presentation being held in February 2009 at Deere headquarters in Moline, IL.
NEMF is an LTL carrier of Parts and Complete Goods to John Deere dealers throughout the Northeastern United States.
"When a company is recognized by a world class manufacturer like John Deere, which itself operates at the highest level of service, it is a coveted award. At NEMF, our employees strive to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction on a daily basis. We are proud to have achieved this recognition from John Deere and we are pleased to be a critical partner in their supply chain," stated Thomas W. Connery, Chief Operating Officer at NEMF.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
