NEMF welcomes Richard Connelly Account Executive for Bethpage Terminal (June 2008)
Richard Connelly recently joined New England Motor Freight (NEMF) as Account Executive for the Bethpage Terminal.
Richard has more than 29 years experience in the transportation industry. He has spent 23 of those years in Sales, but did dedicate a few years to distribution and dispatch. During his days at New Penn Motor Express, Richard was the winner of their "Best of the Best" award for five consecutive years. Some of you may remember Richard from his earlier days at NEMF. Richard was an Account Executive out of our Bethpage Terminal from 1999 thru 2001 and was the recipient of our Most Improved Account Executive award in 2000.
Richard has completed courses at the Academy of Advanced Transportation Management in Philadelphia, PA, the Academy of Advanced Transportation Management, Import & Export in New York City and the Dale Carnegie Institute in Long Island. In his spare time, Richard is actively involved in his community donating his time for the Westhampton School Community Service Projects, at the Eastport Bible Church in Youth Ministries and is a member of The Gideons International.
Richard and his wife Gayle, along with their 5 children - Mitchell, Patrick, Bryan, Jacob and Kathleen reside in Westhampton, NY.
