Congratulations to our 2008 Award Winners (March 2009)
NEMF pleased to announce that Bob Gude is the recipient of the 2008 National Accounts Sales Award. Bob joined NEMF as a National Account Executive in 1995 domiciled in the Chicago / Kansas City area and has been a major contributor to the success and growth of the National Account Sales Team.
Nancy Napoleon, Account Executive based out of the Boston, MA terminal, has been recognized as the winner of the Jon Shevell Account Executive of the Year award for 2008. This award recognizes the recipient as the top sales achiever the year. Nancy re-joined NEMF back in April of 2007.
Al Shumskis of the Newburgh, NY Terminal has been named the recipient of the 2008 Paul Danzak Sales Award. This Outstanding Sales Achievement Award is presented to the Account Executive with the greatest improvement over the previous year.
The NEMF Philadelphia, PA, area terminal (located at 1618 Union Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ) was named Terminal of the Year for 2008. In determining the award, NEMF measures each terminal's performance in a variety of areas. Judging criteria include safety, customer service, revenue growth and profit improvement over the prior year.
Gary Piscal, VP of Carrier Industries, has been honored as the 2008 winner of the Arlene Shevell award. This award is given annually to the worker who exemplifies the highest level of dedication within the Shevell Group. Gary started with Carrier Industries in January 2001 as Director of Dedicated Services and was promoted to Vice President of Carrier Industries in November of 2005.
The recipient of the Mark Jensen Award is Harry Smith, Manager of Costing. His daily support of NEMF Field and National Sales, Carrier Industries and Eastern Freightways, has been integral to the Shevell Group of Companies maintaining its position as a leader in the transportation industry.
