NEMF welcomes George Tony Terminal Manager Pittsburgh (March 2010)
George Tony has joined New England Motor Freight (NEMF) as the manager of its Pittsburgh, PA Terminal, 12731 Route 30 West, Irwin, PA. He will have overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of the 50-door facility.
George brings 25 years of LTL sales and operations experience to his new position. Previous experience includes supervisory, sales and management positions with APA, Carolina Freight, and most recently 12 years with Conway in the Ohio and Pittsburgh markets.
George resides in Irwin PA, not far from the Pittsburgh terminal, where he enjoys the Pittsburgh Steelers, golf and spending quality time with his four children, Kayleigh, Amanda, Evan and Maggie. Additionally, George enjoys following his oldest daughter Kayleigh's early college career as a freshman at Penn State University and part of the National Champion Penn State volleyball program.
Based in Elizabeth, NJ, family-owned less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier NEMF serves its customers from terminals throughout the Northeast and Midwest, as well as Puerto Rico and Canada. It is the largest LTL carrier in the Northeast region.
