ELIZABETH, N.J. - Ryder
System, Inc., a global leader in transportation and
supply chain management solutions, has presented New
England Motor Freight (NEMF) with its Carrier Quality
Award for 2006. The award recognizes NEMF as one of
Ryder's top 16 carrier partners nationally and one of
just six less-than-truckload carriers in that group.
NEMF has earned this distinction eight years running.
This award of excellence
is based on a number of benchmarks, including on-time
delivery performance, current road safety rating,
customer service, claims handling, U.S. Department of
Transportation safety rating and technological
capabilities and innovations.

Generous joined Tom Ringwood, national account
executive, in accepting the award at a ceremony hosted
by Ryder.
